Package Overview

Amboseli National Park is one of Kenya’s most scenic parks, famous for its open plains and spectacular views of Mount Kilimanjaro. The park’s ecosystem is unique, with underground springs feeding lush swamps that attract wildlife year-round.

Expect close-range encounters with elephants, often seen in large herds moving gracefully across the plains. The open terrain makes wildlife easy to spot, while the backdrop of Africa’s highest mountain creates perfect photographic moments.

Itinerary

Day 1: Depart Nairobi early in the morning and drive through the Athi plains, arriving in Amboseli around midday. Enjoy an en-route game drive as you enter the park, spotting wildlife along the way. Check in at your lodge and have lunch, followed by some rest. In the late afternoon, head out for a game drive across the plains and swamp areas where elephants, buffaloes, and hippos are commonly seen. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 2: Start with an early morning game drive, the best time to see predators and enjoy clear views of Mount Kilimanjaro before cloud cover sets in. Return to the lodge for breakfast, check out, and proceed with a final en-route game drive as you exit the park. Begin the journey back to Nairobi with a stop for lunch, arriving in the afternoon.

Accommodation

Guests stay in lodges or tented camps located within or just outside Amboseli National Park, many of which are positioned to offer direct views of Mount Kilimanjaro. These accommodations typically include ensuite rooms or tents, restaurants, swimming pools, and open viewing areas. The lodges are often situated near water sources, increasing chances of spotting animals even from the comfort of the property.

Cancellation policy

Clients may cancel their trip booking at any time; however, a full refund will only be issued for cancellations made more than fourteen (14) days before the scheduled date, while cancellations made between seven (7) and fourteen (14) days will receive a 50% refund, and those made less than seventy-two (72) hours before the trip, including no-shows, will not be eligible for any refund. Rescheduling is allowed if requested at least seventy-two (72) hours in advance and is subject to availability. In the event of cancellation by the operator due to unforeseen circumstances, a full refund or rescheduling option will be offered, and all approved refunds will be processed within seven (7) to fourteen (14) business days via the original payment method, with any non-refundable third-party costs deducted where applicable.
